Taylor's Birthday!! again

On Sunday we celebrated Taylor's birthday with the Allfrey side of the family. We ordered a six foot sandwich from blimpie for dinner, and Sherrie made the cutest cake for dessert. I think it was a princess theme that night. She got a cinderella dress up from her cousins Braden and Hailey. From Grandma Jo and Papa she got a princess sleeping bag, a princess shirt and capris, a princess book, some princess panties, a pink purse, and a tinker bell back pack. It was fun for all of us to watch her open her presents and blow out the candles on the cake. She loves everyting she got and we all had such a nice evening. Below are some more pictures from that night.

Swallowed another tooth!

Trevon has had this loose tooth for the past few weeks, but the last few days it was just barely hangin' on. He has lost his two bottom teeth up to this point and both of them fell out on their own and he didn't notice and swallowed them. So with this third tooth just barely hangin' on we kept telling him to try and pull it out himself so it wouldn't get swallowed again. So on Friday evening Brian took the boys to his basketball game. After the game he took them into the locker room and when Brian looked at Trevon he noticed the tooth was gone. Brian said " hey you lost your tooth" and Trevon said " I did?" They went back to the bleachers to look for it but without any luck. He had a Twix bar during the game, so we figure he swallowed it just like he had with the others. Lucky for him the tooth fairy accepted a note in place of the actual tooth. I don't know what we are going to do with that kid. Maybe the next one we will just have to pull out ourselves before he swallows it again.

Taylor's Birthday!!

On Tuesday was Taylor's birthday, she turned two. What a big girl she is turning into. For her birthday we had a little family get together on Monday night because Brian had basketball games to coach on Tuesday. The Milam side of the family came over to have cake and ice cream and watch Taylor open her presents. The college chapionship football game was on TV that night so we had to hurry and open the gifts during half time. So all the women chatted about my sister Robin's upcoming wedding while all the men watched the game. I think we all had a pretty good time. On Sunday afternoon we are going to be getting together with the Allfrey side of the family to celebrate her birthday, so I will post some pictures of that next week.
I took Taylor to the doctor on Thursday for her two year old check up. We are extremely fortunate to have a very healthy little girl. The doctor said she looked great . She was in the 70th percentile for her weight and she was between the 95th and 100th for her height. But as her Dad says, she will not be a basketball player, she is going to be a tall lean ballerina. Brian says he would much rather go to a dance recital than a girls basketball game. He says when girls play basketball it is just a hobby not a sport. But we will let her pursue whatever she wants as she gets older. She is such a girly girl I am sure she will choose dance over sports. She already loves to dance for us in her tutu that she got for her birthday. I think I posted a picture of it.
Anyways, I feel like Brian and I are the luckiest parents in the whole world. We think we got the best kids ever. (I am sure all parents feel this way about their kids). We are so grateful for our three little ones. I don't know what we would do without them.

Aren't they cute?

Jr. Jazz and Bowling, what more could you ask for?

On Saturday we had such a fun evening. It started with the boy's Jr. Jazz game. It is so fun to watch those little guys play. Then our friends the Lambs invited us to go bowling with them for Madison's birthday. The kids had such a great time. And then to top off the night we all went to Sizzler for dinner. Below are a bunch of pictures from that night. Enjoy!

Where did December go?

I can't believe it has been more than a month since my last post! I am such a slacker. So much has been going on lately it has been hard to find the time to play on the computer. But now that the holidays are past things should start to slow down a little now. Who am I kidding? With three little kids life will never slow down, but that is what makes life interesting right?
We have been keeping busy with family parties, vistiting with family and friends from out of town, junior jazz, Bronco games and all the other every day things. It took me all week to clean out the kids' rooms so I could fit everything they got for Christmas. Talk about spoiled! This year I was pretty spoiled too. I got a new computer for Christmas. I am really excited about it. Right now we have the computer downstairs in the unfinished basement. So in the winter you have to put on your hat and gloves when you want to use the computer. But the new one is a laptop so I can use it anywhere in the house that I want to. Now when I type, my fingers won't freeze. I surprised Brian this year for Christmas. I got him a Bronco helmet signed by John Elway. I also got him a display case to put it in. I think he really loves it.
The picutres I posted are of the kids with Santa at the ward party and with the cousins at aunt Twyla's house. I am also going to post our Christmas letter this year.
Christmas 2006
Dear Friends and Family,
Another year has come and gone. And I think this may have been our family's busiest year ever.
Brian is still working for the newspaper agency. He is also coaching basketball again at the high school. Betweeen work and basketball he is a very busy man, but he really enjoys both. Brian's life long dream came true for him this year. As of last spring he is now a Denver Broncos football season ticket holder! He is going to five of the eight regular season games. Needless to say, we will be making several trips to Denver for probably the rest of our lives.
I am still a stay at home mom. I feel very fortunate that I am able to be here all the time with the kids. But every mom needs to get out of the house every once in a while. So some friends and I started going to jazzercise three times a week. It has been so much fun.
Trevon is six and he started kindergarten this year. He is doing so well in school, and he thinks that riding the bus is the best thing ever. He loves to play basketball and he has his first Jr. Jazz game next weekend. Trevon also is a huge Bronco fan like his Dad. He went to his first NFL game in September.
Jackson is four and he started preschool this year. He loves it, but I have to convince him that it is not show and tell everyday. He is also playing Jr. Jazz this year with Trevon. Jackson also is a huge Bronco fan, even though he slept through a quarter when we took him to the game.
Taylor will be two in January. She is such a girly girl. Life for her revolves around purses, shoes, and her babies. But don't be fooled, with two older brothers she is a tough little thing. In fact she is usually the instigator and she loves to tease the boys. Taylor is talking in sentences now, although sometimes I have to translate for people.
As a family we were able to take a trip to Disneyland with my parents and sisters. The kids had such a great time with Mama Becky and Papa Bob and all the aunts. I am sure it will be a vacation they will remember for years to come.
This year we have been extremely blessed and we can feel the love of our Lord and our friends and family daily. We pray that this coming year will bring much joy and happiness.
