On Friday afternoon my mom and the kids and I went to look at the new house that is still under construction. We went into the back yard which is just dirt at this point, and as we were out there a tractor drove by and kicked up a lot of dirt. And just about then the wind picked up. I had dust in my eyes and apparently so did Taylor, because she had her arm up covering her eyes as she was walking toward the house. I had my back turned and didn't see anything happen, but Trevon yelled " Taylor fell!!" I turned around and didn't see her. I said "where" and Trevon said "down there" and pointed into the window well. I think my heart stopped beating for a few seconds. I ran over and sure enough she was at the bottom of the window well. She started to cry and I leaned over to get her, but the window well was too deep and I couldn't reach her. My mom went running to the basement and opened the window and got her out. I thought for sure there was going to be broken bones, because it was quite a fall. But she was very very lucky. She did cut her head open, and of course head wounds bleed a lot. So we went straight to the instacare to have her looked at. They ended up putting three staples in her head. We will go back this Friday to have them taken out. When I think of how deep that window well was and all the rocks and dirt and construction debris that was down there, we are so extremely fortunate that all she got was a cut and a few other bumps and bruises. She is one very lucky little girl!!! And we love her so much and are glad it wasn't worse.

Fun trip to the Zoo
We went to the zoo with Jenn Lamb and her kids Tanner and Katie ( Madison was in school). And Jenny Willes and her son Beckham. We had a great time. All the kids were very well behaved so we didn't have to feed any on them to the monkeys. The weather was so perfect too, not too hot and not too cold. Thank you Jenn and Jenny for inviting us!
All those cute kids.

Broncos and Rockies
What a fun weekend we had with our friends the Lambs. We went to a Colorado Rockies game on Friday night and then the Broncos game on Sunday afternoon. The Rockies lost, but it was still a lot of fun. In fact it was the first major league baseball game Brian had ever been to. I have been to a few Astros games when we lived in Houston. But Brian says they don't count because I didn't watch any of the game. I had absolutely no interest in the game back then. I sure have changed a lot when it comes to watching sports since I married Brian. I sometimes catch myself watching sports center.
The Bronco game was a blast again, like it always is. They barley won with a field goal in overtime, what and exciting game. The weather was nice and not cold at all, I don't think I even used the jacket I brought. It did start to rain a little during the first half. And then during the second quarter the thunder and lightning started. They stopped the game and had all the players and staff go into the locker room until it passed. It ended up being about a 25 minute rain delay. We just stayed up in our seats until it passed. We figured it wouldn't be worth walking all the way down the stairs with the mobs of people.
But we had a nice weekend. We flew back on Sunday night, and even with the rain delay and the enormous line for security at the airport, we still made our flight. We are looking forward to our next trip on October 7 with my brother and sister in law. Then we are going to another game with Jordan and Jenn in December. Can't wait!!

Jackson's first day of preschool
Today was Jackson's first day of preschool. He has been looking forward to this day all summer. It has been especially hard since Trevon started school back at the end of July. The funny thing is that on Friday was Trevon's last day and now he is off track for three weeks. So I have until October before I am at home with only Taylor for a few hours a week. I think he had a really good time. He said his teacher is really nice, even if he can't remember her name.

Wendy's Wedding
My sister Wendy got married on Saturday. I think I took about 150 pictures, so I tried to only post some of my favorites, but there are still a ton of pictures. I hope nobody gets bored. We had so much fun, it was more like a party than a reception. They had an awesome DJ and everyone had such a great time. Jackson was so hilarious, he was the life of the party. He was right in the center of everything. He was a dancing fool! Taylor had fun out on the dance floor as well. What a great evening, none of the kids wanted it to end. Jackson said he would never get tired of dancing!
