Broncos...oops, I mean Donkeys!

So last weekend we went with my brother and sister in law Bryce and Kella to the Bronco game. We had a good time except for the actual game. It was horrible. The day started off beautiful, the weather was almost warm, we got some great pictures of the players as they warmed up. And there was even a fly by right after the national anthem. But then the whistle blew and the game started and it was all downhill from there. It started to get cold as the sun went down, and then it started to rain. The Broncos couldn't do anything right. They got their buts kicked!! big time!!! The stadium that holds 76,000 people was just about empty before the fouth quarter even started. We left right at the start of the fourth quarter. The score was 41 to 3. It was the worst loss for the Broncos since 1966. Brian thinks we jinxed them by getting season tickets. We have season tickets to the jazz this year for the first time, and Brian says he guarantees they will be crapy also this year. That's just our luck! I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
There was one part of the trip that we got lucky. Before we left Brian was able to reserve a premium car rental for $24 a day instead of the usual $58. We got a premium cheaper than you could get and economy. Then when we went there they told us we could pick whatever car we wanted from a few certain isles. The isles they told us were almost empty except for a few mini vans. But one of the workers came over to us to see if we needed help and we asked if we were in the right place, and she said just take the one behind me. It was a hummer! So we got a hummer for the whole weekend for like $50 bucks. (oh, there are so many jokes Brian would be saying right now) What a deal!!!
